The JELAS Expressway project is a project proposed by BMT Jelas Sdn Bhd to the Federal Government of Malaysia to build a new expressway as an alternative linking Perak to Penang. The project named as “Jelapang – Selama – Batu Kawan Expressway” (Lebuhraya Jelapang – Selama – Batu Kawan) as “JELAS”.
